A World of Witchcraft
A world is nothing if it isn’t full of diverse landscapes, peoples, and cultures. All of these things are what makes a magical world worth exploring. Today, Enjoy Studio and Freedom Games are happy to announce the release date of their open-world RPG life-sim, The Witch of Fern Island. Releasing on February 27th, the game invites players to take a journey onto the titular island. With an emphasis on magic, exploration, and social interaction, the game allows players complete freedom as they explore the unique locations of the island. An official trailer gives gamers a glimpse of what they can expect from the game.
The Witch of Fern Island introduces players to Abrill. A young witch, Abrill is stranded on the island. Yet, she is not here without purpose. The Academy of Witches has given her a mission to uncover the hidden mysteries and powers of Fern Island. Interestingly, players are able to completely explore the island with the freedom to do so as they wish. For instance, players are able to customize what Abrill wears, craft items, raise and ride animals, and even make choices in relationships with others. Additionally, players will be able to immerse themselves in the island’s three distinctive and magical cultures: Boran, Apatut, and Kuqwa. Of course, each culture comes with its own traditions, mysteries, and challenges that Abrill will need to learn as their quest goes on.
