The rose gold 4×4 vehicle had been left abandoned in Wheatley and was reported to Thames Valley Police (TVP) by a member of the public.
PC Percival from Abingdon ICR Team 4 attended the call and established the vehicle had been stolen from the city in South Yorkshire.

The vehicle has now been successfully recovered.
A spokesman from TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse said: “PC Percival from Abingdon ICR Team 4 attended an abandoned vehicle in Wheatley reported by a member of the public, he established it was stolen from Sheffield and it has successfully been recovered.”
