Olivia Rodrigo ‘GUTS’ wins 2024 iHeart Pop Album of the Year Award

Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘GUTS’ was nominated in six categories for the 2024 iHeart Radio Music Awards

Olivia Rodrigo continues to add more accolades to her collection for her highly acclaimed second studio album, GUTS.

After impressively bagging six nominations for the 2024 iHeart Radio Music Awards, the 21-year-old musician won Pop Album of the Year for GUTS, released in 2023.

Since she is currently on her GUTS World Tour, Rodrigo accepted her award and delivered her speech virtually to the iHeartRadio Music Awards audience.

“Hey, iHeart! Thank you so much for giving me this award,” she said via a recorded video message.

She continued, “I am so appreciative, and I am very proud of GUTS and I am so happy that so many of you guys are resonating with it the way that I do.”

Expressing her regret for not being there for the ceremony, the three-time-Grammy-winner said, “I am so bummed that I can’t be there with you guys to celebrate, but I am there in spirit and I am so grateful.”

At the 66th annual Grammy Awards in February, GUTS was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, becoming her second consecutive Album of the Year nomination after Sour.

Additionally, two of the album’s tracks, Vampires and Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl, received four further Grammy nominations.
