Heather’s mom also told police she was afraid of her daughter’s boyfriend, Chad Stevens, 42, believing he could hurt her.
Cops in McKinney, Texas, searched Stevens’ home on Nov. 6 and found the kitchen entrance blocked off from the rest of the house with a wall made of sheetrock, the police report said. When cops broke through the wall, they found Heather’s body wrapped in “lots of plastic wrap” inside the fridge, Fox 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth reported.

Stevens allegedly told cops Heather died in late July and he put her body in the fridge because he didn’t know what else to do, Fox reported.
He gave investigators several different stories about what happened, police claim.
Stevens, who has a long criminal history that includes convictions for assault, theft and drug charges, faces charges for tampering with evidence and more charges are expected.
