Close aide and confidante of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Angela Kelly, looks visibly moved and emotional as she begins moving out of her home in Windsor. Removal vans have been spotted parked outside her home as she begins moving her possessions and is unable to hide her seemingly sad expressions.

Pictured dressed in a smart casual printed blouse, Ms Kelly will be moving her possessions out of the Windsor estate amid claims King Charles III has bought a house for her in the North.

One of the UK’s largest removal companies, Pickfords, parked a large removal van outside her home on Monday.

This weekend, Ms Kelly was also seen beginning the moving process by loading up a white van with belongings including pillows, a mattress and some trees from her garden.

The former Personal Assistant, Advisor and Curator to Her Majesty will relocate to the Peak District where King Charles has reportedly gifted her a new home to honour his late mother’s promise to keep a roof over her head, even after the end of her service. The home is believed to have been bought by the monarch with the understanding it will revert to the Crown after the designer’s death.

News Ms Kelly would leave her home first broke in April when she posted on social media. The designer posted a picture of her garden on social media, writing: “Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home which I will be able to call My Home at last.”

Writing a reply to a friend, she wrote she would be moving to the Peak District being “not too far away from the family” and “looking forward to New Adventures”.

The Liverpool-born dresser was awarded the Royal Victoria Order in 2012 and was a firm favourite of the Queen. She ruffled a few feathers among staff and Royals after releasing a number of books, with the Queen’s permission, about her royal role.

Ms Kelly released her first book, titled Dressing the Queen: The Jubilee Wardrobe, in January 2013 and in October 2019, Ms Kelly released her second book, The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe.
